Frequently Asked Questions FAQ

Here are the answers to the most commonly asked questions we receive. 

When will my item arrive?

For large and high value items we use a specialist shipping company who will pack and deliver your item within days of ordering. We will always keep you updated as to the status of your delivery, via the contact details provided at checkout. If you have specific delivery instructions please contact us directly to specify what these are within 24 hours of your order. The showroom is open everyday and your instructions will be received during opening hours. Our opening hours are listed here.

Smaller items are sent via a courier, usually within two - three working days. We will keep you notified of the status of your order.

Can you ship abroad?

We can ship abroad but this will require additional shipping costs and we will need to arrange this with you separately. You may also be liable for country specific taxes and duties. If you'd like to place an order, please contact us directly and we will provide you with a quote.

Can you send me more information about the artist?

Yes, some information is supplied alongside the piece in the showroom but if you have a specific question about the piece you have purchased please send it to us and we will advise. 

How do I commission an artist?

If you would like to commission an artist for a piece please contact us directly. We can then advise if it is possible and give a quote for the work. We are currently taking commissions for John Myatt, an incredibly talented artist who can copy famous works of art.

What is the process to order bespoke furniture?

We can take commissions for bespoke pieces and work closely with the designer to ensure your requirements are fully understood. In some instances, there is also a cost benefit passed on to you when multiple pieces are commissioned at the same time. For example, a series of dining chairs or matching coffee tables.

We will take your requirement and speak directly with the designer.

They will then provide a quote for the work.

If you are happy with the quote, the designer may choose to liaise directly with you with regard to wood finishes and upholstery.

Bespoke commissions are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 50% taken when the the order is placed. The remaining amount will then be invoiced once the goods have been received. 

Can you recommend an interior designer?

We work closely with an interior designer named Susan Fisher. She has over 20 years experience creating living spaces in all types of building and works with clients nationally. 

What is your returns policy for items purchased online?

You have the right to cancel at any time from the moment you place your online order, and up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods. 

You need to notify us of your wish to cancel your order within this time period – by email, for example.

You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify the retailer of your cancellation to return the goods.

Exemptions include earrings due to hygiene reasons and bespoke items ordered by you.

We have the right to refuse a return if there is damage to the item once purchased.
