An intricate traditional Japanese drawing by English artist Susanne Bayly-Yukawa
Susanne is a fine artist and illustrator, who spent several years living in Japan with her Japanese partner and father of her children, Aki Yukawa.
Aki perished in the single worst air disaster in aviation history, the Japan Airlines 123 Boeing 747 crash of 1985. Susanne spent many years afterwards campaigning for her daughters to be recognised as Aki's children, since they were unmarried at the time of his death. A judge has since ruled that the girls be recognised as his and as such entitled to inheritance.
